Timber Harvesting Laws

Chatten-Brown, Carstens & Minteer (CBC) has experience with Timber Harvesting Laws.   CBC co-counseled with the Center for Biological Diversity in challenging three Timber Harvest Plans proposed by Sierra Pacific Industries and approved by the State on the grounds that they failed to address the global warming impacts of clear-cutting forests.  The matter is now on appeal, and is being handled by Center for Biological Diversity.   CBC also has provided guidance to Ebbetts Pass Forest Watch on a number of timber harvesting issues.
