Chatten-Brown & Carstens (CBC) was founded in 1995 by Jan Chatten-Brown, an attorney with extensive government agency experience and an abiding commitment to protecting and preserving our natural environment and the quality of our lives in the built environment.

Whether representing community and public interest groups and individuals in the courts, or in administrative processes before various local, state and federal agencies, CBC has a record of success and accomplishment in state and federal litigation, counseling and planning. CBC also works with government agencies to enforce and interpret their rights and mandates for environmental protection.
